Spring bear hunts in Idaho are eagerly awaited in the late winter, early spring timeframe.
As we’re out working on our private ranch, the beautiful weather reminds us that spring bear hunts are right around the corner.
We didn’t have much of a winter in Idaho this year, but bears are already stretching their legs outside the den. This will mean a good active spring hunt for our bears over bait.
When bears first come out of the den they usually don’t eat food high in protein as their stomachs can’t take it. This year will be different though, the bears will have a solid month to get out, stretch their legs and be ready to devour anything in sight come season. Should be a great spring hunt!
